A few words about me

I am a European graduated (Poland) and board certified (Germany) medical doctor specialized in adult psychiatry. I have been working in psychiatric facilities since 2007.

My EU specialist qualifications cover the full spectrum of psychiatry, however I am most experienced in diagnosing and treating mood disorders (e.g. depression, mania), psychosis (e.g. schizophrenia, various paranoid and hallucinatory syndromes), anxiety disorders, dementia, alcohol and drug addiction.

I speak English, German, and Polish.

My Philosophy

I respect the patient’s autonomy and see the role of the psychiatrist as that of a professional, who presents possible evidence based treatments and works together with the patients to make a decision that suits their individual preferences.

Establishing a sustainable and safe therapeutic relationship is crucial in providing efficient psychiatric treatment. It’s a relationship between two human beings which should be based on respect and acceptance regardless of the patients political views, nationality, skin color, social class, religion, gender, sexual orientation and other identities. I hope that all my patients feel truly welcomed and accepted.

All information you share with me is treated with care and confidentiality.

Evidence-Based Treatment

Not all widely used treatment methods have been proven to be effective. The patient has the right to know whether there is enough scientific evidence supporting the proposed treatment.

Children & Teenagers

I work exclusively with adult patients (aged 18 or older). I have some limited training and knowledge of diagnosing and treating minors. However the very limited practical experience is definitely insufficient to provide high quality service in this age group.
